Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this site, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
This policy describes what KF Tech Solutions collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this site only — not any system we may have built for your own business.
Last updated: replace this date whenever the policy changes.
Who is responsible
KF Tech Solutions, based in Cairo, Egypt, decides what is collected here and why. For any question about this policy, or to exercise any right described below, contact us using the details on the contact page.
What we collect
When you fill in a form
The contact and quote forms ask for your name, email address, and the message you write. If you include a phone number or company name, we store that too. We use it to reply to you and to keep a record of the enquiry. Nothing more.
When you use the live chat
Before the chat starts we ask for your phone number (and, optionally, your name). We check it is a valid number for its country and store it in international format. We use it to follow up with you, and to bring back your earlier conversation when you enter the same number again — even on another device. The messages you send are stored so the conversation can continue.
Because the number is what reopens a conversation, anyone who enters your number in the chat would see that conversation. Don't share anything in the chat you would not want reopened that way; for sensitive details, ask us for email or a call instead.
When you book a call
The booking page asks for the time you choose, your phone number, and optionally your name and what you want to talk about. We use them to call you on WhatsApp at that time and to remind ourselves shortly before.
When we send you a quote
A quote is shared through a private link. We record when the link is first opened, and — if you accept or decline — the name you type, your answer and the time, as the record of what was agreed.
Automatically, as you browse
Your browser gets a random visitor identifier, kept in its storage. With it we record the pages you view and the tracked buttons you click, when you visited, the site or ad campaign that sent you (the referring site and any utm_…, gclid or fbclid tags on the link), your device type, browser and operating-system family, screen size, language and time zone — from which we derive an approximate country. We do not collect your precise location or your IP address in these records.
If you later contact us — through the chat, a form, a booking or by accepting a quote — we link that visitor identifier to your contact record. Your earlier browsing on this site then appears alongside your enquiry, so we understand what you were interested in. We use this only to serve you better and to learn which pages and campaigns bring enquiries; we do not sell it or use it to build profiles for anyone else.
We also keep a record of your cookie choice — accepted or declined, when, from the banner or the footer's Cookie settings, the version of this policy in force, and your browser type — as proof of how consent was collected.
Advertising and measurement cookies — only if you accept
If, and only if, you accept cookies in the banner, we may load measurement tools from Google, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn or Microsoft Clarity (which records how pages are used). Those companies then receive information about your visit under their own privacy policies. If you decline, none of them load and none of their cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.

The first three are strictly functional: without them the site forgets your choices on every page.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter we store your email address, your language and the time you subscribed. We do not sell it and you can ask us to remove it at any time by emailing us.
Why we are allowed to do this
- To answer you. When you send a form or a chat message, we process it to
respond — that is the point of you sending it.
- Our legitimate interest. First-party analytics to understand what is
useful on our own site, and — once you contact us — linking your earlier browsing here to your enquiry, so we can answer what you were actually looking for. You can object to this at any time.
- Your consent. Everything advertising-related, and the newsletter. Given
through the cookie banner or the sign-up form, withdrawable at any time.
Who else sees it
Our hosting, database and email providers process data on our behalf so the site can run. Alerts about new enquiries, chats, bookings and quote replies — which include your name, contact details and message — are sent to our team through Telegram. Advertising platforms receive data only with your consent, as above. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Some of these providers operate outside Egypt and outside the EU. Where that applies to visitors in the EU or UK, transfers rely on the appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Anonymous visitor profiles (no enquiry linked): deleted automatically
13 months after your last visit.
- Page-by-page browsing events: deleted automatically after 180 days.
- Contact records — your details, enquiries, chats, bookings, quotes and the
browsing linked to them: while we are working together or may reasonably follow up, and deleted when you ask.
- Cookie-choice records: kept as proof of consent; once your visitor
profile is deleted they no longer identify you.
- Your cookie choice in your browser: until you clear it or change it.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Deleting removes everything linked to you: your contact record, enquiries, chats, bookings, quotes and the browsing history tied to them. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time without affecting anything that happened before. Write to us using the contact page and we will respond.
If you are in the EU or UK and believe we have handled your data badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
Before publishing: have this reviewed against the law that applies to you — Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law, and the GDPR if you take enquiries from the EU or UK. It describes this site accurately, but it is not legal advice, and the retention periods above are deliberately vague until you set real ones.
