What a company website actually costs in Egypt in 2026
Market ranges for three tiers of company site, the variables that move the price, the yearly running costs, and what to check before you pay a deposit.

Ask five web designers in Egypt what a company website costs and you will get five numbers, some of them ten times apart. None of them are necessarily wrong. They are quoting different things under the same word. Here is what sits behind each number, so you can compare quotes on scope instead of price.
The ranges
These are market ranges, not a quote. The final price depends on your pages, your content and what the site has to connect to.
| Type | What's in it | EGP | USD approx. |
|---|---|---|---|
| Simple company site | 5–8 pages, built on a template, contact form | 15,000 – 40,000 | 300 – 800 |
| Custom-designed site | Original design, CMS or dashboard to edit content, SEO basics, speed work | 40,000 – 120,000 | 800 – 2,400 |
| Bilingual site with integrations | Arabic and English done properly, plus booking, CRM, payment or WhatsApp | 120,000+ | 2,400+ |
The jump between rows is not about how the site looks. It is about how much of it is built specifically for you, and how many other systems it has to talk to.
What moves the price
Pages and content
A five-page site and a thirty-page site are different projects, but the bigger variable is who writes the content. If you arrive with final text and photos, the job is faster and cheaper. If the agency has to write copy, source images or chase your team for approvals, that time is part of the price, whether or not the quote says so.
Custom design or a template
A template is a reasonable choice for a simple site: quick, tested and cheap. A custom design costs more because someone is designing your pages rather than filling in someone else's. Pay for it when how you present your services genuinely matters to winning clients.
Arabic done properly
Right-to-left is not a translation step. The whole layout mirrors: navigation, icons, arrows, forms, tables. Arabic fonts need different line spacing and sizes. Mixed Arabic and English text has to render correctly in the same sentence. A site built in English with Arabic "added later" usually shows it. If you need both languages, say so on day one.
A CMS or dashboard
If you want to change text, add projects or publish news yourself, the site needs a content management system or a custom dashboard. That is extra work, but it is what stops you paying the developer for every small edit.
SEO and speed
SEO basics mean correct page titles and descriptions, clean URLs, a sitemap, structured data, and pages that load quickly on a phone over mobile data. Speed is not automatic. Heavy images, too many plugins and cheap hosting all slow a site down, and a slow site loses visitors before they read anything.
Integrations
Booking systems, a CRM that receives leads, online payment, WhatsApp chat, a newsletter tool. Each one is its own small project with its own failure cases. If you also want to sell products online, the work is closer to an e-commerce build, which we covered in building an online store in Egypt.
Running costs per year
The build is a one-time cost. These come back every year:
- Domain: a small yearly fee. A
.comand a.com.egare priced
differently.
- Hosting: from a low monthly fee for shared hosting to considerably more for
a site with real traffic or a dashboard behind it.
- SSL certificate: often free through the host, but confirm it renews
automatically.
- Maintenance: security updates, backups, small content changes and fixing
what breaks. Ask whether this is included, billed per hour or offered as a monthly plan.
What a cheap quote usually leaves out
- Arabic, or Arabic that is just the English layout with translated text
- Mobile testing on real phones, not just a narrow desktop window
- Content: the quote assumes you will supply every word and image
- SEO setup beyond installing a plugin
- Revisions: one round, then everything is extra
- Hosting and domain, sometimes bundled in the agency's own account
- Training, so you know how to update the site yourself
A low quote is often a complete quote for a smaller job. Ask what job it is quoting.
Questions to ask before you pay
- Is the design custom or a template? Either is fine, but you should know
which one you are paying for.
- How many revision rounds are included?
- Who writes the content and supplies the photos?
- Will I be able to edit pages myself, and how?
- What happens after launch? Who fixes bugs, for how long, and at what cost?
- What exactly is excluded? A good quote says so in writing.
The same questions apply to any software project. For a larger build, the thinking in what a mobile app costs in Egypt covers how scope drives the number.
Own your domain and accounts
This is the one point not to compromise on. The domain should be registered in your company's name, in an account you control. The same goes for hosting, email, Google Search Console, analytics and any paid plugins or themes.
Businesses regularly discover, years later, that the agency registered the domain in its own name and the site cannot move without them. Ask for the login details at handover, and change the passwords yourself.
If you want a site built this way, with the domain and accounts in your name from the first day, KF Tech Solutions handles web development for companies in Egypt. You can ask us for a scoped quote.
Common questions
How long does a company website take to build?
A simple template-based site can be ready in two to four weeks if the content is ready. A custom-designed bilingual site with a dashboard usually takes six to twelve weeks. Waiting for content and approvals is the most common cause of delay.
Is a website builder good enough for my company?
For a very small business with a few pages, it can be. The limits appear when you need proper Arabic, specific integrations, better speed or full control of your data. Check whether you can move the site elsewhere later before you commit.
Why do two quotes for the same site differ so much?
Because they are rarely for the same site. One may include custom design, Arabic, a CMS and SEO setup, while the other assumes a template and your own content. Compare what is included line by line rather than the final number.
Do I need to pay for maintenance?
Not necessarily as a contract, but someone has to do it. Software updates, backups and security fixes do not stop after launch. If nobody is responsible for them, the site will eventually break or be compromised.
